    Here you can see the list of Pages you are following, and the invitation you received to follow the Page(s). Pages allow real Businesses, Brands, Celebrities, Nonprofit Organizations and NGOs to communicate broadly with people who like them. Pages may only be created and managed by official representatives.
    My Groups
    Groups are meant to be a close circle of people who share & keep in touch on My Selfless Act. A place where people can share their ideas & work with selected members. You can create a Group from this page, also can see the Group(s) invitation you received.
    My Events
    It is a calendar-based resource which can be used to notify users of upcoming occasions. You can create new Event from this page, and invite your friends to join this Event. You can choose to allow guests to invite their friends.
    My Friends
    See the list of your friends on this page.
    My Profile
    On this page you can write a post and see your old posts.
    My Favorites
    Here you can see the list of posts you were inspired by.
    My Activities
    Here you can view an Activity Log of your actions, containing the info about your friends, pages, groups & events, comments you've posted and more.

    Yesterday night I volunteer to distribute the food and blankets to homeless at Berkeley city between 7 PM to 10 PM. It feels good inside to give unconditionally.
    Today I picked up 3 bags of trash at the beach (Emeryville marina), because I love my city and I need to give back something to it other than tax :)
    This summer vacation I had the privilege of participating in a two week service visit in a series of villages in rural India near the town of Sidhbari, Himachal Pradesh. It was an exciting and eye-opening opportunity in rural India.
    Last Monday 30 less-privileged kids visited our office, and we got the chance to engage them in games and teach them financial literacy. I feel great and motivated being part of this activity.

    Don't post about some NGO/Nonprofit or store or company or celebrity is doing good work. Following info seems like promotion of XYZ organization.
    Last year XYZ organization reached out to 1 million people through 35 projects across 12 states, covering more than 90 districts for girls' education.
    Remember to mention how you are connected with the organization which you are writing about.

  • How do I reset my password?
    After logging in you will see the Edit Profile on the top menu, click on that to open the Edit Profile page. Then you will see the Change Password button. Click on the Change Password button to reset your password.
  • My account was compromised and someone changed my username. How can I remove it?
    If your account was taken over by someone else, please secure it to make sure only you have access. You can do this in one of two ways: Once you have secured your account, you can change your username.
  • Does it cost money to use My Selfless Act? Is it true that My Selfless Act is going to charge to use the site?
    My Selfless Act is a free site and will never require that you pay to continue using the site. In the future we might have additional applications or services which you will need to purchase if you want to use it.
  • How old do you have to be to sign up for My Selfless Act?
    To be eligible to sign up on My Selfless Act, you must be at least 13 years old.
  • Can I create a joint My Selfless Act account or share a My Selfless Act account with someone else?
    We don't allow joint accounts. Additionally, you can only sign up for one My Selfless Act account per email address. Since each account belongs to one person, we require everyone to use their authentic name on their account. This way, you always know who you're connecting with.
  • Why am I getting a My Selfless Act invitation email from a friend?
    You received this email because a My Selfless Act member is inviting you to join My Selfless Act. My Selfless Act allows people to send invitations to their contacts.
  • How do I sign up for My Selfless Act?
    If you don't have a My Selfless Act account, you can clik on REGISTER button and fill out your name, email, password, birthday, gender etc. details to sign up.
  • What is the difference between logging in and signing up?
    You can sign up if you don't have a My Selfless Act account. Click REGISTER, then fill out your name, email, password, birthday and gender.
    If you already have a My Selfless Act account, you can log into your account. To log in, enter your email address and password at the top of the page and click LOGIN.
  • How do I unfriend or remove a friend?
    Open your friend's profile page. Click the 'Unfriend' button on this page to remove a friend.
  • How do I send a private message to someone on My Selfless Act?
    You can only send the private messages to your friends.
    To send a private message: Type your message, and then press send button.
  • My friend's account is sending out spam.
    It is possible that your friend's account is sending out spam because their computer has a virus or bad software, or that their login info was phished. In this case you can report the spam, and tell your friend to reset the password or check the Help Center and contact us.

    How do I report spam or abusive content?
    The best way to report abusive content or spam on My Selfless Act is by using the Report link that appears near the content itself. Also, you can report inappropriate content to us through email.
  • How do I report spam comment(s) posted on my activity post?
    Click the name of the user who left the offensive remark. Then, use the 'Block' button to block this user.
  • What is tagging and how does it work?
    When you tag someone, you create a link to his or her profile. The post you tag the person in may also be added to that person's profile.
  • How to tag someone in photos and posts?
    You can tag your friends or the Pages you are following. (Pages of Businesses, Brands, Celebrities, Nonprofit Organizations & NGOs etc.)
    You can't tag someone in photos. You can only tag someone in your posts. Type @ and then type the friend's name in your posts. For example: "I volunteered for beach clean-up with @David Wilson"
  • Who can tag me and how do I know if someone tags me?
    Your friends can tag you in their posts. Depending on your settings, you will receive a notification when someone tags you. You can review the posts you are tagged in from Tagged Posts page, where you can decide if you want to show them on your profile.

  • What is a My Selfless Act Page?
    Pages are for businesses, brands, Nonprofit organizations and NGOs to share their stories and connect with people. Like profiles, you can customize Pages by publishing stories, adding photos/videos, posting about events and more. People who follow your Page can get updates.
    You can create and manage a Page from your personal account.
    Note: If you want to create a Page to represent a business, brand, organization or celebrity, you will need to be an official representative.
  • How do I create a Page?
    After logging in you will see My Pages link, click on that to create a Page.

    Groups provide a space for people to communicate about shared interests.
